Ryan Scott McHale died tragically, in a house fire in Currock Road, Carlisle, on Friday 18 August
2006.
Ryan will be sadly missed by his mum and dad Gina and Sean, brother Owen, two, and sister Kelsey.
The youngster, who lived with his family in Weardale Road, was staying with his grandfather Billy
McHale when the fire broke out.
He was rushed to the Cumberland Infirmary by ambulance suffering from severe smoke inhalation but
was pronounced dead on arrival.
His father Sean, 26, who was trapped in the house with his son, also suffered from smoke inhalation
It’s an absolute tragedy that Ryan has had only four years with us but in that time he has given
us so much love and enjoyment. He will be missed incredibly. He was our oldest grandchild and was so
special to us all.
