Ryan Scott McHale died tragically, in a house fire in Currock Road, Carlisle, on Friday 18 August 2006.
Ryan will be sadly missed by his mum and dad Gina and Sean, brother Owen, two, and sister Kelsey.
The youngster, who lived with his family in Weardale Road, was staying with his grandfather Billy McHale when the fire broke out.
He was rushed to the Cumberland Infirmary by ambulance suffering from severe smoke inhalation but was pronounced dead on arrival.
His father Sean, 26, who was trapped in the house with his son, also suffered from smoke inhalation
It’s an absolute tragedy that Ryan has had only four years with us but in that time he has given us so much love and enjoyment. He will be missed incredibly. He was our oldest grandchild and was so special to us all.
I'M SPENDING CHRISTMAS WITH

I see the countless Christmas trees

With tiny lights like Heaven's stars
reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular
please wipe away that tear;
For I am spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.

with the Christmas choir up here.
For I have no words to tell you
the joy their voices bring;
It is beyond description
to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me,

That I am spending Christmas
with Jesus Christ this year.

of the peace inside this place;
Can you just imagine Christmas
with Our Saviour, face to face?
I will ask Him to light your spirit
as I tell Him of your love;

as you lift your eyes above.

and let your spirit sing;
For I am spending Christmas in Heaven
And walking with the King !

An Angel came and took your hand and held it for a while
